Homer Fire

June 6-June 12

Firefighters and emergency medical technicians went to 11 medical calls and five fire calls.

June 9

Firefighters went to a boat fire at Northern Enterprise Boat Yard on Kachemak Drive. Crews found a 64-foot boat, the Sara Jean, with smoke coming from the wheelhouse. Firefighters found the fire in foam insulation behind wall paneling and put it out.
