Anchor Point Chamber/Visitor Office
The ducks are in, the ducks are in. That's right the ducks are now for sale for the Fourth of July. You can purchase a duck at local stores and at the chamber office.
The July 4th buttons also are available. Congratulations to Erick Paulsrud for his winning design of the button.
The chamber's board of directors meets at 7 p.m. June 23 at the chamber office.
Anchor Point Senior Center
Tonight's dinner will be beef pot pie. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The center's community breakfast is June 21 from 9 a.m.-noon. Bingo begins at 7 p.m. every Friday. The public is invited.
VFW Post 10221
Steak night is Saturday from 6-8 p.m. Karaoke follows at 9 p.m. On Sunday the post will have a pig roast by "BBQ TO GO" at 3 p.m. The post extends a big thank you to the Vietnam Veterans of America for the pig donation that will be enjoyed. Taco night is on Mondays. The monthly fish fry will be June 28 from 4-6 p.m. Big plans are in place for the Fourth of July. Members and guests are welcome.
