Kenai resident, Ms. Esther Lee Hopkins, 62, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.

No formal services will be held per Esther's requests.

Ms. Hopkins was born Dec. 7, 1946.

She worked as an accountant up until she retired. She also worked for the Central Peninsula Hospital Service Area Board. She loved knitting and quilt- ing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken.

Esther is survived by her mother, Letha Hopkins of Concord, Calif.; aunt, Claudette Hopkins of Concord; and cousin Rich Martin of Concord.

Arrangements made by Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai.
