CRPC study questioned
Community Rivers and Planning Coalition has added a new twist to its arsenal of hide-and-seek. Unable to obtain private funding on its own merit, it turned to its personal friends at*the state DEC office. With this under the table cooperation, CRPC has been able to secure*the appropriation of $100,000*to complete the Anchor River septic study.*This money is taxpayer money.*It is not a grant from*the *private sector. Nevertheless, fewer than half a dozen local environmentalists*have absolutely no qualms about spending your money for yet another study while the state budget deficit begs for reduction.*Rep. Seaton credits himself for this appropriation but can't find the money to fix Homer's DMV disaster.*Engineers that design DEC-approved*septic systems*must love you folks. Clearly, CRPC's loyalties do not lie with "community". It's own agenda supercedes all other considerations. Maybe CRPC should stand for "Continuing to Rob Private Citizens".*
