Once again, the Homer Foundation has provided young people in Homer with funding to pursue the arts. The students of the Homer Youth String Orchestra (HYSOC) and their families truly appreciate the funding the Homer Foundation has provided these talented string players.

On behalf of this group, I also want to thank Audrey Waldorf, who also supported the HYSOC students through a directed grant through the Homer Foundation. It has been a wonderful experience to watch this group grow and develop, and with the support of the Homer Foundation and that of many community members, HYSOC is able to grow and develop.
