The city of Homer Public Art Committee is holding an open house to celebrate new art at the Homer Animal Shelter at 5 p.m. July 7.
Crane dancing<P>

Experiment with film
Experimental Film Camp 2006, for ages 13-17, will be held July 5-14. It is sponsored by Homer Film Society and Pier One Theatre. Across the Bay Tent and Breakfast Adventure Company is offering a workshop in close-up photography July 7-9. It will be taught by internationally exhibited photographer Hal Gage of Anchorage. Changes in station’s programming
Beginning July 10, listen to KBBI for Democracy Now!, an independent daily news and public affairs program hosted by award-winning journalists Amy Goodman ad Juan Gonzales. It will be broadcast weekday mornings, 5-6 a.m.
Production of Independent Native News ends Friday, and the show will no longer be available to KBBI listeners and almost 60 other affiliates around the United States and Canada.
