n I do not agree with how the city coucil pushed two new candidates for the planning commission. They replaced an existing, dedicated, experienced person on the commssion who was willing to serve another term and who was appreciated and respected by the public and remaining commissioners. Against much testimony from the public and from other planning commissioners, the council seems to have an agenda and states they want to “sell” Homer by appointing not just one but two real estate agents to the commission.
