Homer Alaska - Letters

Barbara and I would like to thank the community for its tremendous, love, support and prayers. Without a doubt, it has been the most humbling experience of our lives. Homer United Methodist Church is an amazing support, hosting a brunch on my behalf, as well as making me a collector's item nautical quilt. Their diversified support has been incredible.

A special thanks to Dave Ellington and all the great carpenters who helped to remodel the house while we were gone, as well as all our friends and family who helped to clean up the construction site and made our home ready with food, fresh flowers and love.

It brought tears to my eyes to come in my house in a wheelchair for the first time and see what a wonderful job they had done. This is truly a wonderful community. We look forward to seeing you all out and about around town.
