Youths 13-17 years of age are invited to the Introduction to Experimental Film, sponsored by the Homer Film Society and Pier One Theatre from 2 to 5:30 pm. July 5-15. The workshop exposes students to the world of nonnarrative experimental filmmaking, using framing, camera movement, sound and in-camera editing. Stained glass leaded method will be taught by Danny Shannon at Morning Star Studio July 9, 16, 23, 30. Students will create one-by-one-foot pieces while learning to be at an intermediate level for leaded stained glass production during four-hour sessions on these four Saturdays.
