Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Connie Alderfer for heading up this event. Her eye for interesting homes and attention to detail always provides for a smooth-running event. Thanks also to the volunteer hosts, Two Sisters Bakery, Safeway and Kachemak Wholesale, for terrific food and beverages. Of course, the biggest thank you goes to the homeowners who graciously open their homes to the public. Without you, there would be no Tour of Homes.
Finally, thank you to Dorothy, Nicky and Bill Fry (in spirit), and Susan and Grandpa Don Arseneau for hosting our "end-of-the-tour" reception. It was so fun wine, treats, sun what else could we have asked for? Music. As a bonus, we had Homer's own Damon McLay providing fabulous improv piano.
Did you miss the home tour this year? Don't worry, we will do it again next summer. If you would like your home on the tour, please call the arts council and let us know. It is never too early to start planning.
