Father welcomed
St. Augustines' Episcopal Church welcomes the return of Father Bob Cooper and his wife, Sallie, from St. Joseph, Louisiana. This is the third summer for Father Cooper and Sallie to make the trip to Homer. Father Cooper is co-vicar of St. Augustines' along with Rev. Marian Nickelson of Nikiski. He divides his time between Homer and two small parishes in Louisiana.

Father Cooper will conduct services and communion each Sunday during July and August at 1:30 p.m. at the Homer United Methodist Church. Rev. Nickelson leads services the first and third Sunday of each month for the rest of the year, dividing her time between St. Augustines' in Homer and St. Francis' Episcopal Church in Kenai.
