Homer resident David L. Kenner, 64, died June 28, 2011, at his home in Homer.

Services will be held in Homer at a later date.

David was born June 27, 1947, in Klamath Falls, Ore. He moved to Homer 13 years ago, where he loved life and nature.

His family said, "Dave was an awesome brother and uncle. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by all."

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Kenner and Vera Sparks.

He is survived by his brother, Mike Kenner of Redmond, Ore.; sisters and brother-in-law, Wanda Case and Anita and Bill Brooks, all of Chiloquin, Ore.; a nephew, Dan Reyes of Homer; and too many friends from Oregon and Alaska to mention.
