Olympic athlete Tela O'Donnell will be in town Monday at the Homer Elks Lodge for a salmon bake and potluck at 6 p.m. The Olympic Celebration is scheduled to honor former Homer residents O'Donnell and Stacey Borgman, who both qualified for the 2004 Olympics in Athens Greece this summer.
Bring a salad, fish dish, or dessert to share and send Tela off to the Olympics.
This event is not a fundraiser due to restrictions placed on Olympic athletes and their amateur status.
