Barbara Lavallee of Anchorage will be at Art Shop Gallery from 1-7 p.m. Saturday. The public is invited to stop by the gallery, meet the artist and view her prints, books and ornaments. This is part of Art Shop Gallery’s summer Alaska artist series.
Drama, debate, forensics clinic
Students interested in joining Homer High School’s Drama, Debate and Forensics Team are encouraged to participate in a DDF clinic, Aug. 5-6, at Homer High School. The workshop will include activities in acting, pantomime, interpretive presentation, extemporaneous speaking, reader’s theater and debate. Registration is limited to incoming ninth-grade students.
