Pet of the Week

Unlike the movie about the stern schoolteacher played by Peter O'Toole, this Mr. Chips warms up to people immediately. About 1-year-old, he gets along with everyone, has a great personality and loves to play. When worn out from entertaining friends, he'll curl up in your lap, take a nap and purring away happily.

If you would like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, noon-5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for information.
