Wrong forecast keeps rain away

By Jennifer Henley

That weatherman keeps saying there is rain in the forecast, but I still continue to see dust tornadoes in parking lots. Isn’t it funny when we get all this fine sunshine (along with a few clouds) we wonder when the next rainfall is going to be? Then, when we get that much needed rain, we wonder if it will ever stop.

Have you noticed, the fireweed is blooming? Where has summer gone? Here it is the middle of July, and I haven’t been fishing yet. News through the grapevine is that the second run of reds hasn’t shown its colors yet. There is plenty of halibut to be caught. So, get out on that water and good luck fishing.

One of my dear friends gave me a belated birthday card and on the front of it was a saying that I have to share because life is too short: “Sit long, talk much and laugh often.”

With that I will say to you all have a great week and be safe.
