Oil painting workshop planned
There is a plein-aire oil painting workshop with artist Susan R. Ball July 27-29 in Seldovia. Cost is $100. Participants must register by Friday and can do so by calling (907) 234-7614.
Artists called to submit concepts
The Alaska State Council on the Arts announces a call for art for the Fairbanks International Airport Terminal area development project. The call is open statewide and to national and international artists and teams of artists. The art budget is $400,000. Concept proposals must be submitted by Aug. 31.
