Pet of the Week
Tigger won’t be a bother to bears, boys or wayward donkeys — as long as you share a little hunny with him now and then. This 1-year-old guy loves kids and other cats, and has been ruling the shelter cat room from his perch high on top of the kennels. Well, mostly he just likes to nap, but he always has an eye out for mischief.

If you’d like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the Animal Shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Call 235-3141 for more information.
