Festival provides good music, fun
A ten-horn salute to everyone who helped out at the Deep Creek Music Festival, it was a wonderful two days of music, sunshine and good old-fashioned fun. We could not have done it without the help and support of Lara McGinnis, Ninichik fair manager and all the volunteers. A huge thanks to the outlets (Homer Bookstore, Solstice Music, Amped Cafe, Mike Morgan, Zumwalts Music and KBBI.) A heartfelt thanks to the Ninilchik EMS Service for stationing themselves at the fairgrounds just in case anyone should need their help. Thanks to Two Sisters Bakery, Homer Brewing Company, Homer Council on the Arts, Tony Stanfill, The Saltry and crew and all the vendors.
And, of course, a special thanks to all the musicians and the sound crew, Allen, Mark and Shane, for filling our ears with incredible tunes.
Finally, thank you to the folks of the Kenai Peninsula for supporting us and making the weekend an enjoyable time for everyone. We hope to see you all next year.
Many, many thanks.
