July 13

A woman at 1:34 p.m. reported someone vandalized her car twice on Mullikin Street.

A caller at 6:43 p.m. reported people shooting off fireworks toward wildlife on the Homer Spit beach. Police warned people not to shoot off fireworks.

July 14

A hospital worker at 1:37 a.m. reported a boy had been stabbed in the neck. Police went to the hospital.

A woman at 10:57 a.m. made a 911 call that she heard three gunshots and a scream in the Clover Lane area. Police responded and warned a man for illegal discharge of a firearm in city limits.

A man at 12:29 p.m. reported someone broke out the windows of his truck parked on Skyline Drive.

Police at 1:11 p.m. arrested at a Svedlund Street home a 20-year-old man wanted in the stabbing of a boy.

A caller at 2:03 p.m. reported a sighting of another suspect in an assault case. Police arrested the suspect.

A woman at 1:58 p.m. reported her truck was stuck in the sand below the tide line on the Spit Beach. Police called a tow truck.

A man at 2:23 p.m. reported someone shot holes in his greenhouse on Svedlund Street.

July 15

A woman at 8:35 a.m. reported two bicycles hanging from street signs on West Fairview Avenue.

A man at 12:10 p.m. reported lights stolen from a truck.

A caller at 3:48 p.m. reported repeated disturbances from a neighbor. Police responded and took a man to the hospital for evaluation.

An off-duty officer at 4:20 p.m. reported a man violating his probation. Alaska State Troopers later arrested the man.

A woman at 4:35 p.m. reported a neighbor tried to lure her dog into his car. Police were not available at the time.

A woman at 6:46 p.m. reported seeing bear cubs in the Main Street area.

Several callers at 11:19 p.m. reported receiving prank phone calls.

July 16

A man at 3 p.m. reported two bicycles stolen from his Bayview Avenue yard.

A caller at 3:29 p.m. reported an unknown drunk person in her yard. Police took a woman into protective custody.

A woman at 8:49 p.m. reported she picked up a puppy from the middle of East End Road.

July 17

A caller at 12:41 a.m. reported noise coming from Bishop's Beach. Police told the noise makers to keep the noise level down.

A harbor officer at 9:44 a.m. reported two men trying to take fish from totes on Fish Dock Road. Police responded but could not find the suspects.

A property owner at 12:30 p.m. asked police for permission to park on Mountain View Drive while he was developing his land.

Two callers at 12:59 and 1:05 p.m. reported a vehicle parked where prohibited on Mountain View Drive.

A woman at 3:11 p.m. reported a man panhandling at the Street Faire on Hazel Avenue and bothering people.

A woman at 7:24 p.m. reported chickens had wandered into her Bartlett Street yard.

A woman at 7:25 p.m. asked police for help in removing people from her property on Early Spring Street.

A caller at 9:19 p.m. reported a man kicking and breaking things at a pavilion on the Spit. Police arrested a 20-year-old man on an outstanding warrant and issued his mother a disorderly conduct warning.

A man at 10 p.m. reported a child not being taken care of and asked police to do a welfare check. Police responded and reported the incident to the Office of Children's Services.

Police at 11:02 p.m. arrested a 30-year-old man on East End Road for driving under the influence.

July 18

A caller at 10:57 a.m. reported a vehicle stuck on Bishop's Beach with expired tags and a man sleeping in the car thought to have a suspended license.

An anonymous caller at 12:19 p.m. reported a person driving with a suspended license on Poopdeck Street.

A man at 3:38 p.m. reported a suspicious looking man with a gun in his pocket on Pioneer Avenue. Police contacted a person with a BB gun and told the person to put the BB gun away.

A person at 4:02 p.m. reported people stopping on the Sterling Highway to look at eagles in the Beluga Slough.

A caller at 7:35 p.m. reported two drunk men walking on Ben Walters Lane and yelling at each other. Police warned the suspects for disorderly conduct.

July 19

A caller at 4:41 a.m. reported two men at a Pioneer Avenue bar who might be drunk drivers when they left. Police went to the area.
