Longtime Homer and Anchor Point resident, Edna Anderson, 86, died Monday, July 20, 2009, with her family by her side at Friendship Terrace in Homer.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2009, at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints, 2821 East End Road in Homer. Graveside services will follow the services at the Hickerson Memorial Cemetery on Diamond Ridge Road. A gathering will immediately follow the graveside back at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edna's memory to The Kachemak Bay Equestrian Association for the Cottonwood Horse Park C/O Wells Fargo Bank.

Arrangements were made by the Homer Funeral Home.
