Health insurance option offered

The Foraker Group, along with the Rasmuson Foundation, has unveiled a new health insurance program designed to create a healthier nonprofit sector in Alaska. It offers two options to help expand coverage to underinsured individuals and families or those currently without insurance. One option is a high deductible plan, $1,500, with a health savings account. The second option is a catastrophic indemnity plan, $2,500 deductible. Both plans offer options for preventive care and prescription benefits.
