Dog days of summer
Bandit sleeps away a hot, lazy summer day recently on a porch behind the Art Shop Gallery. Though the summer has been noticeably warm and sunny, as August approaches, Homer is losing almost four minutes of daylight each day, and the fireweed is on the rise.
