Ruth Armstrong is still the overall Derby leader with a 306.4-pounder caught May 31, though it briefly looked as if Armstrong would drop a spot when an angler weighed out a 380.4-pound fish. Unfortunately, the angler didn't have a derby ticket, something that could end up costing him an estimated $30,000 in winnings. Derby tickets are $10 and can be found at many Homer businesses.
