Pet of the Week
“Little Betty,” an accurately named little kitty, is looking for a home. Sort of. Actually, she’s a little too frightened to go looking for a home, but she would love to have someone come looking for her. This four-and-a-half-year old girl is spayed, declawed and very wonderful. She is waiting for some wide open spaces to stretch her little legs, away from the peering eyes of the other shelter kitties.

If you’d like to adopt a pet, call or stop by the Animal Shelter across from Public Works off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call 235-3141 for more information.
