Weddings Dora Elizabeth Crane and Stephen James Barfield




Overlooking the ocean in Kauai, surrounded by family and friends, Dora Elizabeth Crane and Stephen James Barfield were happily married the morning of Aug. 7, 2008.

The bride is the daughter of Mitch Crane and Joan Miller, both of Anchor Point. Dora is employed by Flint Hills Resources in North Pole. She was attended by her matron of honor and flowergirl, Rose Middleton & Baylee Middleton, and her bridesmaid, Rainbow Crane. The bride's uncle, Eric Nelson, gave her away.

The groom is the son of Steve Barfield of North Carolina and of the late Faye Barfield of North Pole. Stephen was raised in North Pole and is finishing his final year as a Pipefitter Apprentice through Local 375. He was attended by his best man, Dylan Shay, and his groomsman, Tyler Cunningham.

Family and friends enjoyed a champagne brunch reception and an afternoon of dancing at a local Kauaiian plantation, Gaylord's at Kilohana.
