The Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies sponsors a Junior Naturalist Program for 9- to 12-year-olds Monday-Thursday, Aug. 5-8. The Homer Town Square Task Force hosts an informal gathering at 6 p.m. in the Bay Realty conference room, 331 East Pioneer Avenue. The task force invites neighbors of the proposed town square property south of Pioneer Avenue and east of Main Street or any other interested people to share their ideas and concerns.
