Singing and dancing in the rain
Saturday's sun gives way to wind and heavy rain showers Sunday, but the downpour does nothing to dampen the excitement at KBBI AM 890's Concert on the Lawn on the upper ballfield of Karen Hornaday Park. At top, local band Ray-Jen Cajun brings the public radio station's two-day annual fund-raiser to a close Sunday evening, with a soggy, but enthusiastic crowd continuing to enjoy themselves. KBBI Development Director Jonathan Coke relies on a wide-brimmed hat to stay dry and a radio to communicate with volunteers. Dressed for the downpour, Stephanie Zuniga and Art Koeninger, keep right on dancing.
