July 25

Police at 10:20 a.m. assisted a parent in identifying suspected drug paraphernalia.

Police at 11:24 a.m. received a misdialed 911 call. The caller said she uses her son's birthday of 9-11 as an access code for voicemail. The woman said she would change the code.

Police at 12:04 p.m. issued a trespass warning to a woman who had been aggressive and threatening at a Douglas Street address.

A man at 2:23 p.m. reported video surveillance of a theft at a Lake Street store.

A man at 5:56 p.m. reported locks were cut off storage containers on his Bartlett Street property.

A woman at 6:18 p.m. reported three full gas cans stolen from her shed on Tundra Rose Lane.

A man at 7:10 p.m. reported an iPod stolen from his car parked on Pioneer Avenue.

A person at 8:16 p.m. made a 911 call of a man unloading guns from his car on Fairview Avenue. Police contacted the man and determined all was OK and that the man was moving.

July 26

Police at 12:19 a.m. issued a summons to a 28-year-old man for not having liability insurance.

A person at 2:12 p.m. made a 911 call of a shoplifter in custody at a Lake Street store. Police responded and arrested a 48-year-old man for fourth-degree theft.

July 27

A woman at 8:01 a.m. asked police for options regarding jewelry she is unable to get back from a local businessman.

A man at 6:34 p.m. reported a person allowed unauthorized access to his Jenny Way home.

July 28

A caller at 5:15 a.m. reported a person outside whistling and making noise.

A man at 11:38 a.m. reported a man failed to pay for services rendered to a large group at the Homer Spit.

A man at 9:57 p.m. made a 911 call reporting that he felt suicidal. Police did a welfare check and took the man to the hospital. They also contacted a mental health professional.

July 29

A man at 6:59 a.m. reported his neighbor removed a fence from his Glacierview Court property and asked that police issue a trespass notice to the neighbor.

A Public Works employee at 9:04 a.m. asked police to check on a person doing work with heavy equipment on the beach below Charles Way. Police responded and determined the owner was moving driftwood on private property.

A woman at 11:06 a.m. reported jewelry left for repair was not being returned. Police referred the matter to the Homer Court.

A man at 8:30 a.m. reported a break-in at his home.

A caller at 5:41 p.m. reported a theft.

A man at 7:26 p.m. reported being harassed by a person known to him.

Police at 10:21 p.m. issued a summons to a 50-year-old man for not having liability insurance.

July 30

A man at 12:16 a.m. reported hearing people on the deck of his Hidden Way home. He called again at 3:13 a.m. reporting hearing people again. Police could not locate anyone either time.

Police at 12:41 a.m. issue a summons to a 22-year-old woman for violating conditions of release.

A woman at 3:10 a.m. reported items stolen from her unlocked car on Rangeview Avenue.

A man at 3:37 am. reported damage to his construction site on Rangeview Avenue.

A caller at 11:08 a.m. reported a person passed out on a picnic table at a Sterling Highway address. Police took a 52-year-old man into protective custody and later charged him with theft and assault on a police officer.

A woman at 2:10 p.m. reported a man kept calling her after she told him to stop.

A woman at 5:25 p.m. reported a car window broken by a person known to her. Police arrested a 24-year-old man for criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and fourth-degree assault.

July 31

A person at 2:15 a.m. made a 911 call of a woman yelling. Police responded and found a woman who needed help getting to a hotel.

Police at 6:13 a.m. arrested a 29-year-old man for giving false information to an officer.

A man at 11:40 a.m. reported people partying on Bishop's Beach and burning driftwood from the storm berm and leaving litter.

A man at 12:06 p.m. reported someone tried to break into his Cityview Avenue home.

A man at 2:13 p.m. reported losing a kite surfing board on the Spit just south of Mariner Park on July 27.

A person at 8:06 p.m. reported a disturbance on Bishop's Beach. Police responded.

Several people at 10:40 p.m. made 911 calls of a man stumbling into traffic on the Spit Road. Police responded and arrested a 39-year-old man for disorderly conduct.

Police at 11:46 p.m. arrested a 29-year-old woman on a warrant.

A man at 11:10 p.m. reported his girlfriend took his television.

Aug. 1

Police at 1:28 a.m. took a 20-year-old man into protective custody and cited him for minor consuming alcohol.
