Monica Peters (Gaige) of Homer and Jonathon Gaige of Anchorage were married May 10, 2008, in a ceremony at Anchor Point Church of the Nazarene. A reception followed at Anchor Point Senior Center.

Monica is the daughter of Marvin and Vicky Peters of Homer. She is a 2005 graduate of Homer High School and a senior at Northwest Nazarene University majoring in biology and chemistry. She plans to continue her education and become a physician's assistant.

Jonathon is the son of Thomas and Cathy Gaige of Chenango Forks, N.Y., and is self-employed as a finish carpenter.

They will make their home in Nampa, Idaho, while Monica finishes school.
