Peggy Taylor  
Anchor Point resident Peggy Lee Taylor, 36, died July 26, 2002, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

A memorial service is 4 to 5 p.m., Sunday, at the Sugar Shack Restaurant in Anchor Point.

Mrs. Taylor was born May 8, 1966, in Walla Walla, Wash., to Gordon and Emma Jean Henry. She grew up and attended school in Walla Walla.

She married Willard Melvin Taylor in Othello, Wash., on Feb. 17, 1987. They had two children, Willard Lee and Brandy Ann. The family moved back to Alaska in 1994, and made their home in Anchor Point. Peggy loved to cook and was employed at the Sugar Shack Restaurant in Anchor Point.

Her family said: "She loved bowling and helping other people. She also enjoyed fishing and sitting around a campfire with family and friends, talking about the past and the future. She enjoyed being with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her."

Survivors are her husband, Bill; son, Billy; daughter, Brandy; parents, Gordon and Emma Jean Henry; sisters, Martha and Debbie; brothers, Rick, Bob, Mike, and Billy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are by Valley Funeral Home & Crematory of Wasilla.
