Aug. 1

A man at 10:08 am. reported his debit card was missing and had been used fraudulently.

A man at 10:15 a.m. asked that a woman be issued a trespass notice from his Klondike Avenue home.

A caller at 4:44 p.m. asked police to check a vehicle identification number on a rental car hauler reported stolen out of Washington.

A woman at 4:52 p.m. asked police for options regarding bears in her Cozy Cove Lane yard. Police advised the woman of rules regarding defense of life and property.

Aug. 2

A man at 8:03 a.m. reported his adult son wouldn't leave his home when asked. Police responded and the son left.

A man at 8:50 a.m. reported a woman on the ground with a bleeding head on Fairview Avenue. Police and medics responded.

A man at 10:20 a.m. asked police for information about an allegedly slanderous sign posted at a Kachemak Drive address.

A woman at 1 p.m. reported a man kept a dining room table until a television set was returned.

A woman at 3:13 p.m. reported an inappropriately dressed man in the area of Lake Street and the Sterling Highway.

A woman at 6:20 p.m. turned in drug paraphernalia to the police.

A man at 9:37 p.m. reported someone broke into his Kachemak Way house. Police responded.

Aug. 3

A nonprofit organization employee at 9:51 a.m. reported signs being stolen from the Calvin and Coyle Trail off Mariner Drive.

A man at 4:25 p.m. reported a negative interaction with another person over a stop sign issue on Early Spring Street.

A woman at 5:18 p.m. reported receiving unusual messages on her cell phone.

Soldotna dispatch at 10:22 p.m. reported a 911 hang-up from a Bayview Avenue home. On call back the dispatcher said a person sounded distraught. Police responded.

Aug. 4

A woman at 11:15 a.m. reported having trouble retrieving jewelry from a Pioneer Avenue business. Police advised the woman of her options.

A caller at 4:15 p.m. reported a woman exposing herself and urinating outside a Svedlund Street apartment building.

Police at 8:43 p.m. issued a summons to a 33-year-old woman for failure to provide proof of insurance.

Aug. 5

A 50-year-old woman at 5:37 p.m. reported a drunk woman, age 21, would not leave her Triton Court home. Police arrested the 21-year-old woman for driving under the influence and driving while license revoked. Police issued a summons to the 50-year-old woman for permitting an unauthorized person to drive her car.

Police at 9:40 p.m. arrested a 37-year-old man for driving with a suspended license.

Police at 10:03 p.m. arrested a 58-year-old man for violating a restraining order.

Police at 11:09 p.m. issued a summons to a 68-year-old man for driving while license suspended.

Aug. 6

Police at 3:02 a.m. arrested a 24-year-old man for DUI.

A person at 7:58 a.m. made a 911 call reporting a man was angry at not getting a Farmers' Market space and sped out of the parking lot and spraying rocks.

A man at 1:47 p.m. said the boyfriend of the girl the man was with was stalking them.

A man at 4 p.m. turned in waders and a tackle box that fell out of a motorhome driving on Pioneer Avenue.

A caller at 10:26 p.m. reported a domestic disturbance at a Bell Avenue home. Police arrested a 38-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court.

Aug. 7

A caller at 12:29 a.m. reported a car in the ditch on the Sterling Highway. Police responded and arrested a 52-year-old man for DUI.

Two people at 4:31 a.m. made 911 calls of a disturbance at a Spit campground. Police arrested a 34-year-old man on a probation violation.

Police at 4:43 p.m. arrested a 59-year-old man on an outstanding warrant.

A person at 10:16 p.m. made a 911 call of a car crash with injuries on West Hill Road. Police responded and arrested a 26-year-old woman for DUI.

Aug. 8

A woman at 5:22 a.m. made a 911 call of a person trying to enter her Svedlund Street home. Police responded.
