The Pratt Museum’s board of directors is sponsoring a Homer Dollar Raffle. Tickets are $10, and there will be 10 prizes — gift certificates that can be spent at local participating businesses. The drawing will be held Dec. 9 at the museum, with a grand prize of $1,000 Homer Dollars.
The Kenai Peninsula Small Business Development Center is offering a workshop on “sources of capital,” on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Homer Chamber of Commerce. Presenter Mike Dye of First National Bank will explain how to make a smooth funding process when looking for money for a business’ needs.
