Ms. Gregoire was born on Sept. 5, 1985 to Dick and Bonnie Gregoire in Homer. She spent the majority of her life in Homer and was well known in the community.
Ms. Gregoire held various jobs throughout her teen years but by far and away the position she was most proud of was that of being a mother, her family said. She lived every day for her 1-year-old daughter, Kaleah. She was also enrolled at Kenai Peninsula College.
Her family wrote: “Toni was determined to further her education while still providing a loving and fun home for her baby. She was someone who loved spending time with friends and family. She had a passion for outdoor activities, including fishing and snow machining. Toni was a strong individual who treasured her family and friends. She was someone who had many goals and aspirations and the will to make them come to fruition. She will be greatly missed.”
Ms. Gregoire is survived by her parents, Dick Gregoire and Bonnie Gregoire of Homer; her partner, John G. McGarry of Homer; her daughter, Kaleah Gregoire McGarry of Homer; Kaleah’s sister, Adri McGarry of Anchorage; her sisters and brothers-in-law Dana and Josh Fraley of Homer; and Stephanie and Walter Lissner of Anchorage; her brother Richard Gregoire of Homer; her nieces Libby, Alyssa and Kailey of Anchorage; her grandfather, Harry Gregoire of Homer; her grandmother, Joyce Kroma of Perrysburg, Ohio; special family friend Aleen Smith of Anchorage; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial account has been started to benefit Ms. Gregoire’s daughter, Kaleah, at Wells Fargo Bank.
Arrangements were with Peninsula Memorial Chapel.
