Seldovia man found dead in sauna
The Alaska State Medical Examiner last week ordered an autopsy for George Seville, 53, of Seldovia, after he was found dead in a neighbor's sauna. The cause of death has not yet been determined. Alaska State Troopers do not suspect foul play.
Seville was last seen alive at about 11 p.m. Aug. 9 after friends offered him the use of the sauna while it was still hot. When they checked the sauna at about 5 a.m. Aug. 10, they found Seville dead and called troopers. Troopers saw no signs of foul play.
"Everything indicates he was taking a sauna by himself and he succumbed to something," said Sgt. Ted Nordgaarden, head of the Anchor Point Post, E Detachment. "At this time, I don't know what."
