Elizabeth Sowers and Todd Walter

Elizabeth Sowers and Todd Walter were married Aug. 8 at Glacierview Baptist Church in Homer. Officiating were Rev. Rick Wise of Homer and Rev. Paul Hampton of Smelville, Georgia. The bride's attendants were Krista Arthur of Soldotna and Rebecca Hardy of Homer. The groom's attendants were Joe Compean of Anchorage and Eric Walter of Kingston, Wash. About 150 guests attended the wedding. A reception followed the wedding ceremony.

Elizabeth and Todd went on a weeklong honeymoon to Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Mexico. Upon their return they will reside in a new house they are building off Funny River Road in Soldotna. Elizabeth is a teacher and Todd is a carpenter. They both share a passion for hunting, trapping and fishing.
