Gimme shelter
A yurt frame built by Bill Kitzmiller stands ready to be moved from his Solar Wind Art Studio on the Homer Spit to the Alaska Waterfront Bed and Breakfast, where it will be a hot tub and spa shelter. Nomad Shelters is making a fabric yurt to go over the frame. Kitzmiller said he made the frame from spruce poles and driftwood he found on the beach.
