On behalf of Hospice of Homer, I would like to extend a warm summer thank you to the Kachemak Board of Realtors for selecting hospice as one of the recipients of their first golf tournament fundraiser. Anyone who has been involved in organizing a golf tournament knows the extraordinary amount of time and effort that goes into creating such an event.

Thanks to the many people who contributed to making this fundraiser a success.

Hospice of Homer considers it a privilege to provide education, support and practical assistance to individuals and their families of the southern Kenai Peninsula who are dealing with end-of-life issues or are frail and isolated. The donations Hospice of Homer receives, like those from the Kachemak Board of Realtors, allow hospice to continue to carryout our mission and be an agent for compassion in action.
