Student grateful for opportunity

I would like to thank everyone involved that make the Drew Scalzi Memorial Maritime Scholarship Fund through the Homer Foundation possible. This scholarship is aiding me in furthering my education. I am attending Alaska Vocational Technical College (AVTEC) in the welding program. I am also pleased that other great organizations such as the local and state Elks, Emblem Club and American Legion Auxiliary provide scholarships to students attending vocational schools. Thanks again to all involved in providing students with scholarship opportunities.
