Mrs. Geragotelis was born March 23, 1954, to Robert and Love Findlay in Bridgeport, Conn. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in 1976. On Oct. 8, 1977, Bill and Nancy were married in Connecticut. Together they moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1978 where she worked at the Alaska Native Hospital. She moved to Homer in 1980, where she worked for South Peninsula Hospital and the Homer Medical Clinic. She enjoyed gardening, mountain biking, clamming and fishing.
Mrs. Geragotelis was preceded in death by her mother, Love Findlay. She is survived by her husband, Bill Geragotelis of Homer; sons, Nate and Jake Geragotelis, both of Homer; brothers, Rob Findlay of Tuskaloosa, Ala., Mark Findlay of Anchorage and Ward Findlay of Juneau; sister, Susan Findlay of Boston, Mass. and father Robert Findlay of Cape Cod, Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory to the Nancy Geragotelis Memorial Fund, c/o Wells Fargo Bank, 88 Sterling Hwy, Homer, AK 99603 for the Homer Ice Rink.
Arrangements were by the Homer Funeral Home.

A celebration of Nancy’s life is 6 p.m., Sept. 8, 2006, at Stas Oyster Bar and Fish House at Mile 4.5 East End Road in Homer.
