Mariners, visitors make Ironman a success

The Sixth Annual Homer Mariner Ironman Triathlon was held on Saturday and a little sunny weather poked through the clouds for the race. Nearly 80 tri-athletes, including 31 members of the Homer High Mariner Swim and Dive Team participated in swimming, biking and running. The race also raised $800 for the Mariner swim team.
