Cooking presentation offered

South Peninsula Hospital invites the public to join Bette Seaman, registered dietitian at the hospital, to learn quick and easy ways to prepare and enjoy foods from the Homer Farmers' Market in daily meals. She will offer tips on meal planning, family meal preparation and dining, and how to incorporate the local fall harvest into daily snacks and meals. Special tips and menus will be offered which are perfect for kids to enjoy locally, nutritional foods.

The presentation will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the hospital's Training Center, 203 W. Pioneer Ave. A healthy light lunch and child care will be provided. The presentation is free and open to the public.
