Homer Alaska - Letters

As a senior graduate of Homer High School I want to sincerely thank the Homer Foundation for giving students the opportunity to win scholarships for vocational- and or college-based studies and also for recognizing students' accomplishments in school and extracurricular activities.

I received the Homer Community Science Scholarship for post secondary education in the sciences as well as the Drew Scalzi Memorial Maritime Scholarship this May. With these scholarships I have found it more manageable to afford my schooling at Evergreen State College in Olympia Wash. I want to greatly thank those people who made the Kenai Peninsula scholarships available to students. Their contributions are a true benefit for all recipients.
