Expressing their appreciation of South Peninsula Hospital employees, the Sons of the American Legion in Homer prepared a "thank you" lunch for hospital staff Sept. 2. A menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, macaroni salad and watermelon was served to almost 150 employees and several visitors. "It was fantastic and everybody had great fun," said Derotha Ferraro, SPH marketing director. "They said it was their way of thanking the employees."
