South Peninsula Women's Aglow offers two sessions conducted by Nancy Haney, Alaska Area Aglow Team president, at 7-9 p.m. Sept. 20, and 10 a.m.-noon Sept. 21 at Christian Community Church, 3838 Bartlett St. Call 235-2382 or 235-4151.

The Public Health nurse visits the Ninilchik Clinic 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 26, for pregnancy testing, TB testing and well-child checkups. Call 235-8857 or (800) 770-8857.

A Social Security representative visits 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Homer Senior Center.

The Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies holds a kick-off volunteer gathering and dessert potluck for the 18th annual Coastweeks at 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at the center on Smokey Bay Way and Lake Street. This year's focus is on sea duck conservation. Coastweeks runs Sept. 20 to Oct. 5. Call 235-6667.

A co-housing interest group holds an informal meeting at 10 a.m. Sept. 21 at the Homer Council on the Arts, 355 Pioneer Ave.

Alaska Bible Institute fall classes begin Oct. 1. Orientation is Sept. 30. ABI is a nondenominational school offering courses in Bible, Christian Education and Music. Classes meet at 8:30 a.m. non-weekdays through the end of March at the campus on Mission Road off East Hill Road. Call 235-8648.
