There are really only a couple things the picker can take from week one.
First off, the Las Vegas odds-makers only got nine of 16 games right, which means the Picker’s 9-7 week 1 record is at least respectable.
The other thing is that Green Bay and Oakland are both as bad as advertised.

Where did Tampa Bay, Carolina, Denver, Dallas and Washington go? Four of these teams are supposed to be playoff contenders and Carolina and Dallas were both picked by some “experts” to go to the Superbowl.
