Sept. 6

A caller at 4:26 p.m. reported a driver in a red pick up truck spinning brodies in the Flex School parking lot.

Police at 10:15 p.m. stopped a 61-year-old man driving on Mariner Drive and arrested him for driving under the influence and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Sept. 7

A man at 1:58 p.m. reported three girls under the influence of alcohol in a car parked at Homer High School. Police cited the girls for minor consuming alcohol and notified their parents.

Police at 4:18 p.m. issued a summons to a 27-year-old woman for not having proof of auto insurance after contacting her on Kachemak Drive.

Police at 4:59 p.m. issued a summons to a 29-year-old woman for driving while license suspended after contacting her on Kachemak Drive.

A woman at 4:43 p.m. reported a vicious dog charged her, her son and other boys while she walked on Early Spring Street. Police contacted the dog's owner.

A visitor at 9:02 p.m. reported losing a bag of souvenirs.

Sept. 9

A man at 10:02 a.m. reported his East End Road business had been robbed.

Several callers at 11:04 p.m. complained of fireworks being shot off in the Spruceview Avenue area. Police responded but could not locate any suspects.

Sept. 10

Police at 1:08 a.m. stopped a 22-year-old man driving on East Hill Road and arrested him for driving under the influence, fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

A woman at 6:10 p.m. showed police photos of a bird she said had been injured intentionally.

A caller at 10:12 p.m. reported the theft of a bicycle on Pioneer Avenue.

Police at 11:06 p.m. issued a summons to a 24-year-old man for not having liability insurance.

Sept. 11

Police at 3:01 a.m. stopped a 20-year-old man driving on East End Road and arrested him for DUI and cited him for minor consuming alcohol and minor operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol.

A woman at 11:30 a.m. went to the police station and reporting a man threatened her. She asked for police help in returning some items.

A woman at 1:07 p.m. gave a police officer a wallet she found on Fairview Avenue. The wallet's owner picked it up later.

A woman at 12:30 p.m. turned in a debit card she found on Heath Street.

Police at 10:29 p.m. stopped a 26-year-old man driving on Pioneer Avenue and arrested him for driving while license revoked and violating conditions of release.
