HVFD members plan fundraiser

Volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians with the Homer Volunteer Fire Department member association hold a fundraiser 7 p.m. Sept. 24 at Alice's Champagne Palace. The dinner is $50, with music by Burnt Down House. There also will be a live and silent auction and a 50/50 split the pot drawing. Tickets for the split the pot are $20 each, with only 500 sold.
