Laura Porter and Mark Zeiset

Laura Porter and Mark Zeiset of Anchorage were married Sept. 6 at the Anchorage home of friends. The outdoor wedding and reception had a colorful autumn setting that overlooked the city of Anchorage and Cook Inlet. As family and friends gathered to celebrate, the gray skies cleared and the sun came out.

Laura is the daughter of Rick and Nan Porter of Homer and the granddaughter of the late Ed and Lolly Rehder. She graduated from Community Christian School in 1999 and from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2004. Currently, she works at Coldwell Banker as an accountant.

Mark is the son of Mark and Brenda Zeiset of Gratz, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Upper Dauphin Area High School in 2001. He is employed by TecPro, Inc.

Mark and Laura were introduced to each other by friends at ChangePoint Church in Anchorage.
