Obituaries Electa Billups
Former Homer resident Electa Billups, 86, died Aug. 15 in Salt Lake City of natural causes. Ms. Billups was born Dec. 24, 1915 in Bellwood, La., and lived in Homer from 1948 to the late 1970s. After living in Homer, she moved to Santa Cruz, Calif., and later to Salt Lake City.

She is survived by her son, Roger Bolton of Homer, her daughter, Eunice Billups of San Diego, Calif., eight grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
